Geekay, NTMR remain unbeaten at OWCS NA Stage 2

Geekay Esports and NTMR, tied atop the standings, remained unbeaten with sweeps on Saturday as Week 5 began in the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 -- North America Stage 2.

NTMR (6-0) downed DhillDucks (0-6), and Geekay Esports (6-0) reached the same outcome against Extinction (1-4).

The tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude on June 15, with six qualifying teams heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs.

The top three teams will advance to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has yet to be determined.

NTMR's 3-0 sweep in the best-of-five match featured a 2-0 win on Busan Control, followed by 3-1 on Circuit Royal Escort and 3-0 on Suravasa Flashpoint. American Rocco "Kronik" Iacobacci of NTMR was voted the MVP.

Geekay's sweep consisted of a 2-0 victory on Oasis Control, 3-1 on Suravasa Flashpoint and 116.75m to 74.28m on Runasapi Push. Geekay Esports' Denis "Lethal" Tari of Turkey was the match MVP.

Week 5 continues Sunday with two matches.
